"The Company of Wolves" is a movie from 1984 that it is inspired in the tale "Red Riding Hood" but from an adult point of view. That doesn't mean we are talking about an adult movie, but that the movie is full of references that hardly would be understood by children, but references that in some way where already present in the original tale.

The movie is also inspired by the Hammer and American International classics from the sixties and clearly influential in later movies like Tim Burton's "Sleepy Hollow".

While we wait to see this "Red Riding Hood", it is a perfect time to (re)discover Neil Jordan's interpretation of this tale.
